Cuyahoga County Administration Building

The art program for this new government office building came with a mandate—50% of the work needed to come from county residents. GHS led the development of the collection from conception through installation, working with multiple stakeholders, including the construction team, to determine where the art should go and what art was needed while keeping the project on time and within budget. Of the 325 pieces GHS sourced, 85% came from county residents, with the balance coming from other artists in the region. Works created by artists in the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ SAW Program were integrated throughout the installation, deepening the collection’s impact and inclusivity. The result is a collection that truly and uniquely reflects the region. This project was completed through a collaboration with ArtSource.
